Monday 15th June, 1.00pm - Sian Welby: My Mixtape

Broadcasting her best ever belters for your listening pleasure is the face of Channel 5 News, Sian Welby. We forecast lots of headline-grabbing songs from the former weather presenter, who is a big Destiny’s Child and Dolly Parton fan, but also loves her Blur and Bastille.

Tuesday 16th June, 10.30pm - Neil McCormick’s Needle Time: Belinda Carlisle

As a Go-Go, pop poster girl Belinda Carlisle found worldwide fame in one of the most successful all-female bands of all time. And the singer went on to achieve 80s solo success with huge hits such as ‘Leave the Light On’ and ‘Heaven is a Place on Earth’. But the wild times caught up with her and she found herself having to clean up her act, she tells Needle Time interviewer Neil McCormick. She is now happier than ever and enjoying a calmer, more spiritual life away from the spotlight.

Wednesday 17th June, 1.00pm - Carol Decker: My Mixtape

Carol Decker, the flame-haired frontwoman of internationally successful 80s pop rock outfit T’Pau picks the tunes that go kapow for her. There are tributes to those she has toured with, with songs from Nik Kershaw, Bryan Adams and bessie mates the Bananarama girls. And then there are tracks like ‘Billie Jean’ from Michael Jackson and ‘All Night Long’ from Lionel Ritchie that get her toe-tapping, and those that turn her on, such as ‘Enter Sandman’ from the leather trousered heavy metallers Metallica. It’s a genre mash up of a My Mixtape!

Wednesday 17th June, 10.30pm - The Janice Long Review Show

Janice’s riveting review show is hitting its 2014 stride! This week guests Andy Bell of synthpop duo Erasure, singer songwriter Emma Stevens and veteran DJ, producer and broadcaster Dave Pearce offer their informed and entertaining opinions on our two albums up for analysis – the eponymous debut by British ska revivalists The Specials and ‘Sweet Dreams’ by The Eurythmics, an 80s hit-maker for the dynamic new wave duo.

Friday 19th June, 11.00pm - Best of The Vintage TV Sessions

We’re so spoilt for choice when it comes to bringing a ‘best of’ sessions selection together for your live listening pleasure. With so many incredible artists passing through, including Republica, Tom Hickox, Hazel o’Connor, Fairport Convention and Denise Pearson, it has felt like our own Vintage hall of fame. Here we pick more stunning performances from this treasure trove which has all the decades and genres covered.

Saturday 20th June, 7.00pm - Live With… Gabby Young

Flame-haired front-woman of eccentric English fusion band Gabby Young and Other Animals lights up The Crypt Studio as she performs ‘Another Ship’, ‘Male Version of Me’, ‘Fear of Flying’ and more of her genre-rich songs. With elements of gypsy, folk, rock and jazz in her music, it’s bound to be a fun, flamboyant affair!

Sunday 21st June, 5.00pm - Colin Blunstone: My Vintage

It’s going to be dead good this best song selection from the king of The Zombies. The seminal soft rock band’s vocalist, guitarist and songwriter of worldwide hits such as ‘She’s Not There’, who has enjoyed success with The Alan Parsons Project and as a solo artist too, over five decades, is bound to be scarily spot on with his music taste.
