With live music such a thriving scene, we are in on the act in a big way here at Vintage TV. The Vintage TV Sessions puts awe-inspiring acts on the stage for several songs apiece in a gig setting, and Live With… invites an acclaimed artist - established or up-and-coming – to perform from their back catalogue.
Keeping it live this month for The Vintage TV Sessions (30th April, 8pm) is Fairground Attraction’s Mark Nevin, 90s hard rockers Thunder, Scottish singer Maggie Reilly and Irish alt folksters The Young Folk, with host Nicky Horne, veteran radio and TV presenter. And Live With… gives a warm Vintage welcome to: folk rock’s Jon Allen (1st April); 80s icon Marc Almond of Soft Cell fame (8th April); acclaimed country girls Ward Thomas (15th April); eccentric genre-blenders Gabby Young and Other Animals (22nd April); and Texan troubadour Katie Armiger (29th April).
