In celebration of The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Vintage TV is proud to announce its Best of British Weekend. The perfect accompaniment to your bank holiday celebrations, we've put together over 20 hours of classic British music from 1939 to 1998. From pop and rock to indie and alternative, this is British music at its best. So get out the bunting, cupcakes, jelly and tea - we're hosting a party and everyone's invited.
From 7.00pm every evening, Vintage TV is celebrating all things British. From a classic wartime love song by Dame Vera Lynn to nineties pop music by The Spice Girls, British music has never looked so good.
Not to mention sounded so good. Hard rock from masters The Who, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Def Leppard gets a blasting, in addition to alternative rock from The Clash and The Sex Pistols.
There's something for everyone, as British Female and Male Icons are celebrated in their own playlists, including Petula Clark, Lulu, George Michael and Cliff Richard.
