Let's Review

Silken-voiced Janice is back with a bumper crop of guests for November as the second series of the Janice Long Review Show continues to go from strength to strength. In episode 3, Martin Fry celebrates the 30th anniversary of ABC’s legendary Lexicon of Love, with Andy McCluskey from OMD and music journalist Paul Morley. The hunt for a consensus between them begins with Kate Bush’s Hounds of Love on 4th November at 8.30pm.

Femme pretenders beware, it's an all-female show for episode 4 as Janice is joined by Claudia Brucken from Propaganda, singer-songwriter Kathryn Williams and former editor of the NME Krissi Murison, to discuss Bjork's Homogenic and Hole's Live Through This. Catch the discussion on 11th November at 8.30pm.

Classic new wave stylings abound at 8.30pm on 18th November as we go back to the early career of U2 with you, too. Michael Bradley joins us to relive the making of his eponymous debut LP by The Undertones and review U2's Achtung Baby! with journalist Neil McCormick and Ocean Colour Scene's frontman Simon Fowler.

Janice probes the wisdoms and experience of producer Adamski, music critic Paolo Hewitt and The Wonderstuff's Miles Hunt to analyse what made ‘Siouxsie and the Banshees’ Kaleidoscope and ‘The Smiths’ The Queen Is Dead such great albums. The finale of November's reviews is on November 25th at 8.30pm.
